“Americas” - MMG Orchestra 30th Anniversary Recording Session at Power Station–Berklee NYC
"Americas" is a sweeping musical and visual journey through the history of the Western Hemisphere. Blending symphonic music with historical imagery, the work explores the major natural landscapes of the Americas, the civilizations that originated across the continent, the profound cultural encounters that reshaped the hemisphere, and the lasting impact of human activity on our shared environment.
One of the Multicultural Music Group Orchestra's most frequently performed works, Americas premiered during the Borinqueneers presentation in 2008 and has since been featured in major productions in 2011, 2015, 2018, and 2019.
"Americas" is arranged & orchestrated by Luis Mojica with additional orchestrations by Luis Columna and Paula Srur Carcar. Audio mastering by Roberto Navarro. Filmed and edited by Yardbird Productions.
